Organization Resources, Types and Rate Cards

Manage your organization's master resource library, including attributes, resource types, rate cards and the resources you own, and share it with every event.

Your organization holds the master copy of the resource system. This is where an admin builds the attribute library, defines resource types and prices them with rate cards. The concepts are the same ones used inside events, explained in Resources Overview.

What You Manage at the Organization Level

The organization owns the library that every event draws from. Attributes are defined once and placed onto types. Types carry their rate cards. The resources you own, your inventory, are recorded here too, and each can link to several of its type's rate cards with one default.

Working at this level means a change reaches every event that uses the resource, rather than being repeated event by event.

How This Differs from Events

An event can use organization types and attributes and can also hold ones of its own. An event admin pulls a type from the organization to use it, which brings its attributes, rate cards and components with it. See Event Resources for the event side.
